Description
A woman in her early 40s had had no room of her own in her apartment since moving in more than 10 years ago. Both children had had their own room since birth, but she herself had no real retreat of her own.
At some point a few weeks ago this became increasingly clear to her, and she came up with an idea which she discussed with her husband. Through clever rearranging, a room could be created which she could use for herself as a sleeping, working, and retreat room. She was extremely happy and relieved to finally have her own space now.
After she had slept there for the first night, she noticed pain while urinating the next morning - there was a spot in the area of the urethral opening that hurt badly on contact (e.g. with urine). After two more days, pus began to form there, and she recognized that it was an aphtha, something she had previously only known from the oral mucosa and had never had at that spot before.
Since she knows the 5BN, she strongly suspected the connection to the fulfillment of her wished-for room. To pin it down more precisely, we discussed it together: in our assessment, this was the SBS of the mucosa of the urethra in the area of the outer opening. The pus points to an involvement of the deeper endodermal layer, since this is typically formed in old-brain processes. The conflict theme, however, particularly fits the ectodermal upper layer, namely a resolved female territorial-marking conflict: she finally has an area in the apartment for herself, with clear boundaries, into which she can withdraw whenever she needs some peace from everyday family life.
Note: Have you also had exciting experiences with the 5BL? If so, it would be great if you could send us an anonymized report so that we can publish it in the archive and everyone can benefit from your experiences. Thank you very much!
