Description
A few years ago, we went camping by the sea.
Our tent was set up in a beautiful spot right above the coast. On the first night, I was suddenly awakened by the loud roar of the waves. The sound was so loud that I was startled at first.
I got up, walked over to the fence at the edge of the field, and shone my flashlight down. For a moment, I tried to gauge how high the waves were and whether they might be dangerous.
But I quickly realized: We were high enough. The waves were far away, and there was no danger at all. Reassured, I went back to the tent and fell asleep again.
The next few days were calm. But on the last night, the wind picked up considerably. It shook the tent and kept us awake most of the night. Finally, we decided to move the tent to a more sheltered spot. At the same time, it was clear that we would be leaving the campground the next morning.
In the morning, I woke up with a stuffy nose, initially on the left side. It was immediately clear to me that I had sensed the potential danger from the waves on the first night and that this must have been the DHS for me. The active phase of the conflict thus lasted until the last night, when it was certain that we would be leaving the next morning.
Later, the right side of my nose became congested as well, my eyes started watering, and a few days after that, I had green mucus coming out of my nose. I assumed this phase would last about four days—that’s how long we stayed at that campground.
On the last day, however, I felt so bad that I could hardly believe the symptoms would go away soon. But sure enough, they stopped completely exactly four days later.
Note: Have you also had exciting experiences with the 5BL? If so, it would be great if you could send us an anonymized report so that we can publish it in the archive and everyone can benefit from your experiences. Thank you very much!
